Mt Mcleod Hut is a Parks Victoria recreation site in Victoria’s High Country, 8.4 km NE of Buchan.
**MT MCLEOD HUT LOST IN 19/20 BUSHFIRES** Mount McLeod is an old fire lookout location. The site contains the old hut used to house the Fire Lookout Tower workers. The fire tower has been dismantled.

Follow the Basin Road east out of Buchan. The turn off to the tower is approx. 1km past the end of the private land.
