The Holding Paddock is a Parks Victoria campground in Victoria’s High Country, 15 km S of Licola.

Located on the doorstep of the iconic Victorian High Country, just 20 minutes south of Licola, The Holding Paddock offers camping on the banks of the Macalister River surrounded by rolling hills. Historically, the site served as an overnight stop for holding cows during the two-week journey from Wonnangatta Station to the saleyards in Heyfield - giving the site its iconic name.
