For 4WDs and drivers with some 4WD experience or training. Head north out of Walhalla, passing Cricket Ground Track after 6km, which goes to the historic Walhalla Cricket Ground. At 10 km, veer right onto Binns Road. On your right pass the historic sites of Holmedale with views to your left of the Thomson Reservoir. At the end of Binns Road, turn left onto McEvoys Track which boasted many hotel sites in the late 1800s servicing travellers to the goldfields. Continue north towards Mt Useful. At 10.2 km from Binns Road/McEvoys Track intersection, turn left into Donnellys Creek Road. Route Summary - Starting from Walhalla head north on the Walhalla Road. At the 10km mark veer right onto Binns Road. Continue on Binns Road for the entire length to the intersection of Springs Road. Turn left up Springs Road. After travelling 10.2km turn left onto Donnellys Creek Road. Follow Donnellys Creek Road for its entire length to the Walhalla Road. Turn left onto the Walhalla Road.
