The Briagolong-Dargo scenic drive is a beautiful half-day journey along Freestone Creek, with opportunities for bushwalks and picnicking. You may also choose to make this an overnight trip with some overnight stays at one of several camping sites along this route, which would enable you to explore some of the bushwalks in this area. One of the highlights of this trip is Blue Pool, where visitors can cool off in the swimming hole or take one of several walks which depart from the day visitor area.
