This drive is suitable for novice drivers in all-wheel drive and high range 4WDs. This leisurely forest drive winds you deep into the heart of Bentley Plains. There are many historic sites and relics along the way, including the iconic Washington Winch, Moscow Villa and Bush Hilton hut. There are several walks as well as camping and picnic facilities near Moscow Villa and Bentley Plain Campgrounds. Start your adventure from Swift Creek, heading south onto Great Alpine Rd, and then turn left onto Horsfall St/Little River Rd. Continue on to eventually turn right onto Bently Plain Rd, which will lead you to Bently Plains—a sub-alpine grassland and wet heathland rich in unique flora species.…
