High Country Backroad Tour - Omeo to Dargo - Harrisons Cut is a Parks Victoria touring route in Victoria’s High Country, 9.3 km N of Dargo.

For 4WDs and drivers with reasonable 4WD experience or 4WD training. This optional side trip off continues up to the hidden end of the Upper Dargo Road to Harrisons Cut, a fifty-metre channel blasted through the rock to divert the Dargo River, to enable the river to be mined for gold in the early 1880s. On your way to Harrisons Cut, you will pass opportunities for bush camping by the Dargo River at Black Flat and Collins Flat.

This side trip commences from the Upper Dargo Road/Jones Road intersection, heading north up Upper Dargo Road with the Dargo River on your right
