Three decades of hand-cut, rough-and-rowdy singletrack, right in town.
One of the pioneers of Australian mountain biking. Big Hill has around 40–50 km of mostly hand-built singletrack, from mellow cross-country loops to serious downhill lines.
It’s built and looked after entirely by volunteers from Team Mount Beauty, and the trailhead is a few hundred metres from the town’s shops, cafés and bakery.
Good to know There’s parking and toilets at the trailhead. Consider chipping in to the club that maintains the trails.
