A locals’ swim in the Ovens River, a short walk from the middle of Bright.
Tucked along the Ovens River off Mountbatten Avenue, Jenvey’s is a summer favourite for a quick dip after a hot ride or walk.
It’s also where whitewater kayaking and packrafting trips through the Bright gorge set off, so don’t be surprised to see paddlers launching on a busy day.
Good to know River levels and currents change quickly — skip it after heavy rain, and always check before jumping in.
