The Howqua River Walking Track is a popular walk, this walk will take you a total of 12.4 km through stunning native vegetation. You will follow the river flats for the majority of the walk and will give you the opportunity to cross over more than 30 river crossing. This walk gives you the ability to immerse yourself in the Victorian High Country and enjoy the stunning scenery. Spend time meandering through Australian native species as you take a long ride along the Howqua River, with opportunities to complete water crossing when water flow is high. Getting there
To Running Creek - from Mansfield follow the Woods Point Road toward Jamieson. At the Howqua Bridge turn left onto the Howqua River Road, follow for approx 6kms. Continue onto Steiners Rd for 2 kms and turn left into Running Creek.
