Alistair Fielding Walk is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 21 km N of Briagolong.

This walk takes you back to the Lees Creek alluvial gold mining era of the 1890s where you will be able to view old house sites, alluvial diggings and a water race used to bring water from a dam to the diggings. Nature also abounds with lyrebirds, giant Mountain Grey Gums (Eucalyptus cypellocarpa), tree ferns and maybe the Fringed Helmeted Orchid (Corybas diemenicus) with its bright red flower along the way. Alistair Fielding was a park ranger from Briagolong who had a hope to open up the intriguing history of this area. Getting there

This track can be accessed from Briagolong by travelling around 30km or 45minutes on the rough 2wd route of Freestone Creek Rd and then around 3km or 10 minutes along the 4wd route of Lee Creek Track to The Lee Creek Picnic Area. Alternatively you can walk to the track from the Lee Creek Camping area which is located on the intersection of Freestone Creek Rd and Lee Creek Track.
