Craigs Hut Walking Track is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 16 km E of Sawmill Settlement.

A 3 km stunning walk amongst the low snow gums with views across the surrounding alpine valleys, leading up to the historical Craigs hut. It is a well formed track with some short steep sections. A good way to visit Craigs Hut if you want to stretch your legs or for those in 2WD vehicles.

Getting there

From Mansfield follow the Mt. Buller Rd to Mirimbah. Turn left onto Mt. Stirling Rd and follow to Telephone Box Junction (T.B.J). From here, The Circuit Road can be driven in either direction. Follow Circuit Road 17kms from T.B.J in a clockwise direction, or 29kms in an anti-clockwise direction. The drive is normally accessible to all vehicles, but can have rough sections. The Circuit Road is seasonally closed at T.B.J from the Friday before the Queen's Birthday weekend until the Thursday before the Melbourne Cup Weekend.
