Montane Walking Track is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 2.6 km SE of Dinner Plain.

An 8 km walk through open snow gum forest that circumnavigates the Dinner Plain village. The walk has a rough, rocky track surface with some short steep hills. The track is generally under snow in the winter months. The Montane walking track starts on the northern side of the Alpine hwy approximately 100m east of the main entrance to the Dinner Plains Village

Getting there
The walk starts at the Dinner Plain village and ends up on Dinner Plain Track approximately 3km south of the DP village. Dinner Plain Track has a seasonal road closure on it to vehicles between mid June and end October.
