Mt Timbertop Walking Track is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 6.7 km SE of Merrijig.

One of the ultimate short walks in the Victorian High Country. At the beginning of the walk you are surrounded by tall Eucalypt forest then climb to Snow Gum woodland. The Summit Loop provides expansive and spectacular views over the Mansfield area, the Delatite Valley and beyond to the peaks of the Victorian Alps, this walk will have you in awe of your surroundings. The track also offers a link through to Doughtys Rd (Doughtys Road to Summit Loop return is 6.1km return)

Getting there
The walking track is best accessed from Timbertop Saddle picnic area and car park. From Mansfield follow the Mt. Buller Rd to Merrijig. Turn right onto the Howqua Tk, follow for 6.5kms
