Plain Creek Tramway Bridge Walk is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 1.8 km NE of Sawmill Settlement.
- Walk · 1.6 km one way · 1–4 hrs · Grade 3
This trail is an extension of the Plain Creek Loop walk, taking you to the remains of the old timber trestle bridge once part of the tramway used to transport fallen timber. Carter & Co. built a sawmill in this area in 1937 to mill timber from the surrounding forest. In the early years timber was transported through the forest by a single line five horse team along timber tramways as seen in this walk.
