Tanglefoot Loop is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 11 km N of Healesville.

Flowing from the Monda road green break down the mountain this track winds under some large Mountain Ash and 1939 regeneration forest into fern gullies over numerous timber bridges. Eventually you can head into the Wirrawilla Rainforest Walk and up the old Quarry road track back to Monda carpark. Alternatively you can commence at Wirrawilla and for those that like a more invigorating walk you might like to consider joining up with the Myrtle Gully Circuit for the whole 17km Tanglefoot trail experience.

Getting there
One option is to head to Healesville then take Myers Creek Road for 12 km to Monda road. Turn right at Monda road and wind your way up 5km, past Mt St Lenard, to the Tanglefoot Carpark. The walking track trailhead is on the opposite side of the Monda road. Alternatively, from Healesville, take the Myers Creek road for nearly 13km. Take a right at Sylvia Creek Road and follow this for about 4.5km until you see the sign for Wirrawilla carpark. The trail can be accessed from this site.
