Livingstone Creek - Omeo Camping Area 13 (CLWF) is a Parks Victoria campground in Victoria’s High Country, 18 km SW of Omeo.
This camping area is on licensed Crown water frontage. It remains public land but has a licence over it that allows the adjoining landowner/farmer to graze stock on it. Your right to access this public land remains intact as the licence does not provide an exclusive right or use by the licensee. Typically camping is prohibited on licensed Crown water frontage. However, some special areas (such as this one) have been set-aside to allow self-sufficient camping. Getting there
From Omeo, travel south on Day Ave/Great Alpine Road for 2.8 km, then turn left onto Cassilis Road for 7.2 km. Turn right onto Upper Livingstone Road for 7.8 km and continue onto Upper Livingstone Creek Track for 3 km, you will pass through gates on this track, leave the gates how you found them. The parking area is on the left of Upper Livingstone Road. Pedestrian access to the camping area is through the Crown frontage to the west. The camping area commences immediately within the Crown frontage. Leave all gates as you find them.
