Livingstone Creek - Omeo Camping Area 7 (CLWF) is a Parks Victoria campground in Victoria’s High Country, 5.9 km N of Omeo.
This camping area is on licensed Crown water frontage. It remains public land but has a licence over it that allows the adjoining landowner/farmer to graze stock on it. Your right to access this public land remains intact as the licence does not provide an exclusive right or use by the licensee. Typically camping is prohibited on licensed Crown water frontage. However, some special areas (such as this one) have been set-aside to allow self-sufficient camping. Getting there
From Omeo, travel north on Day Avenue/Great Alpine Road for 5.9 km. The parking area is on the right of Omeo Hwy. Pedestrian access to the camping area is immediately through the Crown frontage to the east. The camping area commences immediately within the Crown frontage. Leave all gates as you find them.
