For 4WDs and drivers with some 4WD experience or training. This route takes you into the Thomson Water Supply Catchment, explores the history of the Jordan Valley Goldfields and its early settlements and cemeteries. In Aberfeldy township, there is an optional side trip to Hanging Rock (4WD Grade – Very Difficult). If not doing this side trip, head north out of Aberfeldy on the Walhalla Road for about 2km to reach O’Keefe Track on your right. Here you can choose to do the optional side trip to Aberfeldy Crossing (4WD Grade – Difficult) or continue along Walhalla Road for a further 10.5km, where you can then turn left to do an optional side trip down Victor Spur Track (4WD Grade – Medium) or…

Commences from the historic township of Aberfeldy, heading north on the Walhalla Road. Note – This route is subject to seasonal road closures from 1 May to the end of November each year.
