For 4WDs and drivers with some 4WD experience or training. This side trip takes you up a 4WD track to a short 500m return walk to the old Macks Creek settlement site. The settlement was surveyed in 1865 and named the ‘Township of Kevington at Macks Creek’. It boasted 22 buildings and a post office.

This side trip is accessed off the Mansfield – Woods Point Road, heading south on a forest track on the western edge of Kevington.
