High Country Backroad Tour - Nunniong Forest Drive - Nunniong Plains is a Parks Victoria touring route in Victoria’s High Country, 17 km E of Swifts Creek.

For 4WDs and drivers with some 4WD experience or training. This side trip crosses the Timbarra River, passes by The Culverts and onwards into the Nunniong Plains. The Nunniong Plains are a series of open plains interspersed with Snow Gum Woodlands and stands of Alpine Ash. Camping is available at Nunniong Plains campground near the headwaters of Timbarra River. At times, cattle and feral horses graze these plains.
Getting there
At the western end of Bentley Plain Road, turn right onto Nunniong Road and travel 13.2 kms to then turn right onto Nunniong Plains Track.
