Big Emu Ascending is a Parks Victoria riding route in Victoria’s High Country, 14 km N of Bairnsdale.

A 6km long single track which starts at the lower trailhead and ends at the upper trailhead. This climbing track has some easy benched in sections and some climbs to raise a sweat. It leads through dense forest and rocky hillsides to ultimately arrive at the top.
Getting there
Located 15 minutes from Bairnsdale. Travel north through Wy Yung and follow the Bullumwaal Rd. The intersection to Mount Taylor is where the bitumen road turns to gravel
