Merrijig Track - Route 2 is a Parks Victoria riding route in Victoria’s High Country, 17 km N of Bairnsdale.

A medium grade of difficulty, with a few more difficult sections, this loop comprises open forest roads and narrow steep and hilly tracks. Some sections are not maintained and have overgrown vegetation and intersections may not be obvious. Some steep sections may become slippery following rain. There are a few creek and river crossings which are usually shallow.
Getting there
To access the Mount Taylor Trail Bike Visitor Area from Bairnsdale, follow the signs to Wy Yung, and then travel north along the Bullumwaal Road for approximately 7km. Turn right onto Boyds Road, follow Boyds Rd. across Mt Taylor Creek and up past a quarry on the left. The trail Bike visitor area is 400m past the quarry. It is immediately past the intersection of Howitt Spur Rd and Jones Rd.
