Mt Taylor Downhill is a Parks Victoria riding route in Victoria’s High Country, 14 km NE of Lindenow.
- Mountain bike · 2.3 km one way · under 1 hr · Extreme
This advanced level downhill MTB track is a double black diamond due to its fast-paced technical nature. It starts below the communication tower off Tower Road and rapidly descends 300 metres through natural bushland with fast corners and big jumps. It crosses large rock slabs, optional earth jumps and the infamous ‘Cabbage Patch’ before several jumps and ending with a jump beside a dam into the picnic area.
Getting there
From Bairnsdale, travel north through Wy Yung and follow the Bullumwaal Rd. The intersection to Mount Taylor is where the bitumen road turns to gravel.
