Walk 6.3 km E of Warburton

Richards Curves Walk is a Parks Victoria walk in Victoria’s High Country, 6.3 km E of Warburton.

  • Walk · 4.2 km return · under 1 hr · Grade 3

The track gets its name from the series of bends constructed along an old logging tramline established by William Richards that allowed for timber to be hauled from the forest along a steady descent from Mississippi Fireline towards Big Pats Creek. The walk starts in the Big Pats Recreation and Camping area. Begin at the stairs and make your way up 'The Curves' to Mississippi Fireline and return via the same route down the steady decent back into Big Pats Creek Recreation Area. Alternatively you can continue along the remainder of 9km of the Richards Tramline to Brahams Rd. (Please see 'Richards Tramline' for more information).
