This side trip turns left off Walhalla Road onto Victor Spur Track, entering the Thomson Water Supply Catchment and towards the historic townships of Red Jacket and Jericho. Continue southwest to cross the bridge over the Jordan River. Turn left after the bridge onto Red Jacket Track, passing the old school site on the way to Blue Jacket. After Blue Jacket, continue onto Violet Town, also known as Jollys as it was founded by George and Mary Jolly in 1862, who grew fruit trees and vegetables.
